With the older Series 2 Tivo you would use an IR Blaster to control your cable field. There is no such option with the model new Series 3 items since they use cable cards to eliminate the use of a cable field fully. The greatest I can do is to get the cable to indicate on channel 3 on the Tivo however can't use Tivo recording features as a end result of it trys to change channels which it can't...
