QuickBooks error 101 is an error under the category of scripting errors.  Reasons for occurrence of Error 101: Window components like Microsoft .NET framework and activeX controls are outdated or blocked.  So, in order to fix error 101 you can manually update banking into QuickBooks online from its dashboard and update it.
