Industrial measurement & controlThe industrial measurement & control equipment that have been parts of the processes which are the oldest in a business’s operations tend to be the oldest themselves. And in time they will have established their utility and sort of become stalwarts in the business operations. Pressure instruments
At EMC, we supply process pressure instruments, differential pressure transmitters, and pressure switches. Our experienced team will help you make the right choice. Maximise plant and process safety as well as operational efficiency and effectiveness with our range of pressure instruments. Endress+Hauser’s wide range of devices for pressure measurement enables us to offer a pressure transmitter with ultra-modern technology and high-quality materials for every application and every budget. Plus, when you buy from us at EMC, you will benefit from our extensive expertise providing pressure measurement solutions to companies in a range of industries. You will also benefit from the ongoing support that we provide – support that covers the entire lifecycle of the product. Absolute and gauge pressure transmitters provide a safe measurement of liquids and gases in various applications. Used for measuring process pressure and hydrostatic level. With a wide range of materials and approvals available to suit any installation and environment such as hygienic, SIL, and explosion protection certification. Feel free to contact us to discuss your application further. Metallic cell: The operating pressure deflects the metallic process isolating diaphragm and a fill fluid transfers the pressure to a resistance bridge. The pressure-dependent change in the bridge output voltage is measured and evaluated.
The level control is important for many reasons. Too much or too little level in a container can be detrimental and so it needs to be monitored and controlled, with alarm activating to alert people that something is wrong or that they need to do something. An example of the need for control and alarms is in a sewer system where the storm water collection system and sewer system are separate. In the event of heavy rain storms, water can get in to and overwhelm the sewer system, causing the sewage to overflow into the streets. This is a potential health threat that can result in fines for the company responsible. The sewage can also cause damage to properties which the company would have to pay out to make good. An alarm that gives early warning can give the company enough time to do something about the situation. Another commercial use of liquid level control and alarms is to warn of an overflow in oil tanks. Endress+Hauser is not restricted by a limited number of measurement principles and can, therefore, offer the method best suited to your particular application in either liquids or bulk solids. We’ll carefully listen to your requirements and then offer the best suited and most cost-effective solution. We also offer onsite assistance with commissioning to ensure the instrument is installed correctly and performing as required.

Our policy at EMC is to build long-term relationships with our clients, where we provide the services and solutions you need today and long into the future.
The loadcell mounts are comprised of a spring element on which the strain gauges are placed. The spring elements are sturdy and minimally elastic, as they made of steel or aluminum. According to the name spring element, the steel is minimally deformed under the pressure of a load, and then returns to its initial, starting position, elastically responding to every load. The minutely small changes are easily acquirable by the strain gauges. The final deformation on the strain gauge is eventually interpreted by the analysis of electronics to calculate the weight. EMC is New Zealand’s largest manufacturer of Belt Weighers and Weighfeeders; something we’ve been proudly doing for almost 50 years. Our Weighing processors (Modweigh) are also developed and manufactured in NZ and not only supplied locally but also exported globally. In addition, we also supply tank and silo weighing systems with quality loadcells from Scaime and loadcell mounts from Thames Side and our own EMC range. We also provide on-site servicing and commissioning for all our Weighing products. EMC are New Zealand’s largest manufacturer of continuous (dynamic) weighing systems. We design and manufacture the ModWeigh range of world-class electronic weight indicators and processors and products such as belt weighers, weighfeeders and loadcell mounts for vessel and tank weighing systems. Our weighing products are found throughout many industries but predominantly in the primaries and food industries. When you choose our products, you can expect industry-leading features and high-quality manufacturing standards. Our team is also highly knowledgeable, so we will ensure you get the right solution for your requirements.

Process Automation
A process automation, or simply a temperature transmitter, is an electrical system that incorporates the work of a control or measuring instrument into a single device. It is, therefore, a mixture of both types of instruments, and is therefore simultaneously flexible, reliable, and effective. You should expect a lot of elements to be protected by temperature transmitters, including those that cannot protect control devices and temperature sensors when used in isolation. Until sending it to the control room or automation solutions, it not only tests the temperature, but also amplifies it and transforms it into signals. The use of industrial automation has so many practical advantages, including its ability to maintain measurement integrity and to convert low-level signals to standard signals recognised by control and monitoring systems. EMC is New Zealand’s largest manufacturer of Belt Weighers and Weighfeeders; something we’ve been proudly doing for almost 50 years.
A variety of high-density industrial automation is mounted in a protective casing due to cost-sensitivity, and power is supplied using a single power source. On the other hand, if the control room and the sensor are separated by a very long distance, or if plant noise is likely to have a negative effect on the sensor's low-level signal, the installation of the temperature devices should take place in the immediate vicinity of the sensor. This would have a significant influence on the efficiency of the sensor's signal, resulting in its reconditioning and conversion into a regular signal. The instrument is mounted in isolation in connection heads in applications like these. There are several other explanations for selecting a temperature transmitter, but perhaps the most important is the one discussed above. Before jumping to any conclusion, however, first consider the needs of your submission.
The temperature instruments or simply temperature transmitter is an electrical device that brings the functioning of a control or measurement instrument together in a single device. So, it is a combination of both types of instruments, and is thus versatile, effective, and efficient at the same time. You can expect temperature transmitters to cover a lot of elements, even the ones which control devices and temperature sensors can't cover when used in isolation. At EMC, we supply a very wide range of Endress+Hauser temperature instruments suitable for all industrial facilities and processing plants. Their products include unique features such as self-calibration and tool-free calibration designed for hygienic applications. The E+H range includes modular thermometers, compact thermometers, measurement inserts, thermowells, and transmitters. We also provide a range of accessories suitable for various industries including mining and primaries, food and beverage, and water and wastewater amongst others. The temperature instruments that we offer will provide you with sensor technology you can rely on as well as calibrations that are fully traceable and accredited. We have particular expertise supplying products to highly regulated industries.
