Ayrton Senna Biography
Ayrton Senna's extraordinary feats in the wheel of a racing automobile afforded three world championship titles and 41 grand Prix victories. He was probably the best exponent of this flat-out qualifying lap that the game has ever seen, taking 65 pole positions in 162 races.
These accomplishments alone guaranteed his name will be eternally writ large in the history books before the tragic circumstances of his passing whilst directing the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.
Williams was first to examine the 23-year-old, and McLaren and Brabham put him into their automobiles.
In the latter, Nelson Piquet bristled at the possibility of being paired with the other glowing Brazilian gift and proceeded to obstruct Senna's arrival. Neither Williams nor McLaren was ready to provide him a race seat for the forthcoming season, therefore Senna procured a driveway in the very small Toleman outfit, that had been entering their fourth year and were yet to complete a race greater than the fourth location.
