The Dekort analogs and liquids are manufactured under the United States Pharmacopoeia. That is the Food and Drug Administration, a government corporation whose activities are authorized by US law. The USPTO also authorized the beverages under the act. So what does Dekort treat? According to the USPTO website:

The USPTO holds that the Dekort name or symbol constitutes a valid trademark in the United States and there is no other existing trade mark with the same design or a similar appearance. Dekort does not plan to use the same for competing products. In addition, the Dekort manufacturer is not intending to issue additional generic versions of its trademarked product. For those selling over the internet, this means the site can't sell the product under another name or symbol. In short, the online pharmacy reviews say you can't.

As for the Dekort description, the online pharmacy reviews say this: "A dietary supplement for aiding weight loss is available from the makers of Dekort Internet Marketing (DIM). Dekort Internet Marketing offers an online pharmacy that provides convenient ways for people to purchase the product and to learn more about it." Unfortunately, it doesn't mention anything about the strength, purity or other physical properties of the herbal extract used in the product.

If you live in the United States, Canada or some European countries, this is good news. Dekort is not available in the European Union. You won't find it in any English-speaking pharmacy. Even if you could find it online, chances are it wouldn't be accepted as a prescription drug in the United States, Canada or the EU.

This doesn't mean you should be scared of shopping online, however. It does mean you need to shop around and be careful what you're buying. You don't want to walk into a pharmacy, hand over your credit card information and have your order automatically billed. If read this blog post from from has a problem with accepting your prescription drug in the United States, you may be out of luck. Make sure they have information on their website about accepting credit cards from companies other than the one selling the herbal extract.

If you're interested in trying it out, you might want to try it out by going online and doing a price comparison. Some online pharmacies will let you do this. They might even let you make a purchase test flight or send you a sample bottle. Compare prices from different online retailers and you should be able to find a reasonably priced bottle of Dekort. If you're buying online, make sure that you don't have to enter your credit card information multiple times. Be wary of any online pharmacy reviews that recommend ordering online only to find that you have to enter credit card information multiple times.
