The Chronoshift team complied with the requirement
"While we all know that this may be LoL accounts disappointing for you, please bear in mind that Riot and its own developers, designers, musicians, artists, and employees have spent hundreds of hours developing a fun and compelling experience on its authorized, official serviers," the letter states. "Unauthorized servers such as Chronoshift harm Riot, its business, and, ultimately, its workers."
"While we expect to resolve this matter , please be advised that Riot is ready to take any actions that it deems necessary to safeguard its rights, for example, if necessary, by commencing litigation in the US federal courts."
The Chronoshift team complied with the requirement, despite the fact that it's clearly not happy about it. A message posted to the Chronoshift website highlights the amount of time the developers have spent working on the job --five years--and that it refused all offers of financial aid throughout. Additionally, it denies any of Riot's copyrighted material has been ever illegally distributed, or that Chronoshift was ever meant to compete with the League of Legends live game.
"We're incredibly disappointed by the way Riot opted to cheap LoL smurf accounts handle this circumstance," it says. "Rather than opening a dialog about the future and interest in this type of project, they attempted what might be regarded as an effort to make the most of our work for free and begin taking legal actions against us"The League of Legends 2021 World Championship will be in Shenzhen, China
