Westminster Abbey is another building which is likely to be a prominent example of the regency style. interior Strong is believed to have planned the Abbey. However it was actually commissioned by Queen Victoria who wanted to create a religious monument that would encroach on her own religious structure. Many architects were needed to assist in the building. The names of Sir Christopher Wren and John Sweeny are among the most famous. Three men worked together in 1790 to complete the spectacular construction that is still standing today.

One building stands out from the other when we examine Regency architecture in a different way. The Sedgwick House is this building. Founded by the English builder Sir William Burney in 1820 it was envisioned to be the largest home in the country at the time. It was not just designed to be huge but also expected to house the largest naval fleet in the world at the time. The house was not as planned, however, it soon became too crowded and deteriorated, but it was saved from disrepair through the efforts of Danish architectural style.

In order to finish off the project the architects completed extensive renovations to be able to complete the project. Sir Samuel Parry, a great regency builder, also added a large conference room and other amenities to the Regency-style homes in Tanzania and the Sedgwick house catalogue.
