This was my personal worst business trip fail. We were traveling south in order to meet with one of the biggest oil tycoons from the Middle East region. There were several different phases of the presentation. I was given one of them as I was one of the most active participants on the project. It was my chance of telling my boss that I'm up for the big leagues. Are you ready to play big games against the big boys. Although it might be offensive, I was referring to adult women, or better yet, business women.

Everything went smoothly. The date and time of the portion that I was responsible for was handed to me. The meeting was set to take place in an underground bunker. I was the one responsible for the security of the computer in the emergency room of the local insanely wealthy businessman. I'll keep names and tituls out of this report, because I do not wish to blame anyone or make anyone recognize me through my writing assignments. The demonstration's purpose was to imitate a real actual sequence of events which would have led the businessman to flee into his emergency room, accompanied by family members and small army of guards. The initial plan was to present the lecture and demonstrate how to manage such force situations without losing one's mind.


We have all gone underground, and then entered the dark room. The room's darkness was designed to hide the huge quantity of weapons discovered in the walls. It was quite a frightening scenario. Let's move on. I'm setting up the powerpoint to present. I don't know what? You don't have Internet here? Are you kidding me? Since lockdown is already in effect it is impossible to access the email to which presentation data is saved. I'm not doing this the first time. I was online on Youtube to convert the mp3 files and along with copying the audio from the video to improve my memory of reading it on paper I downloaded the mp4 file. I was looking for more suitable audio formats, but finally found the one I'm currently searching for the exact presentation. It's on my laptop, waiting to go.

I was blessed. I was fortunate. While it was a short speech, it was three minutes long and it conveyed security and confidence. In fact, we signed 47 new clients of greater calibers. This has resulted in contracts in the hundreds, if perhaps thousands of dollars. We are looking at the future with great anticipation to continue our partnership with them.
