This is something that I learned the hard way. My mom has been on my shoulder all weeklong, telling me to prepare this and keep in mind that. I only shared with her my excitement over going on the first ever camping trip with my kids and her grandkids. But she was in my kitchen puffing and puffing up with tips and directions for any situation that could arise. I don’t mind my mom’s speaking. However, watching her lecture makes things uncomfortable. Therefore, I attempted to conclude the entire thing more quickly than I was supposed to. This was a huge error.

Our car was with us and drove to the camping site. I was hoping to recreate the rural feeling I shared with my dad in the past, so I decided to go to one of the most remote locations. It turned out that it was not located in an area where service was available. Our smartphones weren't working and we were pretty much completely alone without a camping party in sight. I'm not sorry, I was expecting a great camping trip..
What next? We didn't have Internet or bars, and we were bare of anything... I had my laptop in my bag, and it didn't even make it into my bag. I had a stunning background to display the trees. Their only desire was to look up their messages, check their emails and track their school stuff and other things. I couldn't bear the idea any longer, and we packed our bags for the way back. My children produced sounds that were like piglets enjoying delicious food. My kids are awesome. However, it was embarrassing. They groaned and squealed as their phones started beeping to announce text messages that were coming in.
Since then, I've been more prepared and have tried to stay clear of an internet-free zone which doesn't permit roaming. On our long boat ride towards our destination I realized I needed two laptops and two tablets to keep me occupied. My tablet has Hulu offline video on one hand, and Netflix films on the other. The laptop is home to everything I have in my music and movies. I have over 600 hours of viewing materials, including the complete episodes from South Park, Friends, Will & Grace and Friends seasons.
There are a lot of videos that kids will enjoy. I downloaded music videos from Youtube and converted them into mp3 or mp4 formats for watching and listening. I came across this website application that allows me download video directly onto my laptop. This allows me to play the videos offline at any time I want, provided I have power. I DVR lots of movies, TV Shows and simply online lectures, seminars and anything else that's worth watching later, and I save them in format mp4 on my laptop. Later, I can play them with VLC or KMP or any other software that can play video files and supports 4k.
Another thing I insist on is 4k. Have you ever watched? Video is crystal clear and astonishing. I would highly recommend. Televisions that support 4K image have amazing software in them that processes that picture and makes it better, upscaling it. This means that old videos are much more appealing on the new TV, even that it's not the best to begin with, just squarish kind of blockish recording. However, it transforms into a nice smooth modern video flows. Highly recommended to all guys and girls!
