It's fascinating to me looking on in the outside, because when you look at all of the things CCP've done and EVE Mobile ISK also have been talking about during the previous year - from the Blackout that shook up things for better or worse through the summer, to the drumbeat of participant retention during the EVE Invasion Tour, the community team today feels poised and prepared to undertake the challenges awaiting them. The hiring of Jessica, for example, feels like it targets not only a great EVE ambassador, keen to push the sport forward, but also somebody who has worked inside her Alliance to help player retention - some EVE has historically been fighting with.

"If I may remark in regards to what you were requesting," Kamil mentioned during our interview,"about hiring and if this was a conscious decision in terms of building the neighborhood team for the future. To some degree, of course, yes. You know, things were happening quite quickly last year. So I wouldn't say that this was planned all along, since clearly those programs have been changing continuously. However, we've been extremely serious and diligent in terms of trying to find people and characters with specific sets of skills which would help us decorate one another, rather than perhaps with a team of individuals who shared the very same strengths. Because from my standpoint, that may leave us with some weaknesses that would have been difficult to overcome. And even today there are quite likely places that all people might be a little bit weaker than others, at least we can leverage our strengths and also make sure we work on everything else in the same time."

Together with 3 developers having rich EVE Online backgrounds, something that makes this group somewhat different from many other community facing groups in EVE's last is down to the fact they don't really need to play the game anonymously anymore. Until lately, CCP employees had to hide their identity when they played EVE Online. This changed last year when that limitation has been lifted. Because of this, both Dan and Jessica have essentially been able to Cheap EVE Echoes ISK keep playing the characters they've made a title with over the years without the fear of"being caught," so to speak.
