Another season of the popular NBA video game series, NBA 2K, is upon us, and this year is no exception.

In less than a week, on September 10, NBA 2K22 was released, and the talent of each and every NBA player has been evaluated numerically on a scale ranging from 0-99. Although players shouldn't place too much stock in these numbers — after all, it is a video game — these ratings do, to a significant extent, reflect a player's progress and talent in comparison to the other players in the league, which is useful information. Some of these ratings appear to be reasonable representations of how good a player is, buy NBA 2K22Xbox Series MT  while other ratings appear to be unreasonable, to say the least. These ratings are “calculated” based on a player's numerous attributes — outside scoring, defending, and athleticism, to name a few. That last one most accurately represents the Clippers' player evaluations going into the 2021-22 campaign.

In particular, Paul George and Reggie Jackson, as well as their impressive postseason performance, were not given due credit they deserved,According to the ratings, the two perimeter players received scores of 88 and 80. It is disrespectful to George to give him an 88. Along the way, he helped the injury-plagued Clippers advance to their first-ever appearance in the Western Conference Finals, and in doing so, NBA 2K22Xbox Series MT for sale he averaged a career-high 26.6 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. I believe that those numbers are sufficient for at least a 90-percent rating on their own.

However, for the sake of supporting my point, Jimmy Butler, despite being swept and averaging 14.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game in the first round of the playoffs, was given a rating of 91 by the NBA's official rating system. During the regular season, Butler averaged 21.5 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game while playing in the Big East Conference. A similar set of numbers were posted by George, who averaged 23.3 points per game, 6.6 rebounds per game, and 5.2 assists. As a result, there is no reason why the Clippers' star player should not receive a rating that is on par with, if not higher than, that of Jimmy Butler.

According to the NBA's ratings system, Reggie "Mr. June" Jackson's playoff performance alone should have elevated him to at least an 80, buy NBA 2K22Xbox One MT placing him alongside players like Keldon Johnson and Jonathan Isaac, who did not lead their respective teams to the Western Conference Finals. Just in case you've forgotten, Jackson averaged 17.8 points per game and was instrumental in keeping the Clippers' playoff hopes afloat by making 48.4 percent of his field goals and 40.8 percent of his three-point attempts. What's more, his buckets came in the form of big-time shots that sparked the Clippers' momentum or tough shots that served as the final jab that knocked the opposing team out of the playoff race. For someone who put on quite a show for NBA fans, the number 80 appears to be a little low.

The other Clippers received ratings that were more in line with expectations — albeit slightly lower than I had anticipated — despite the fact that George and Jackson were the more notable players who received unexpectedly high ratings. They were ranked as follows.

The nature of these ratings makes it difficult for each and every one of them to be completely accurate in every situation. And while it may appear unreasonable to some Clipper fans — particularly those who use their favorite team in the game — that some of the ratings are lower than they should be, NBA 2K22Xbox One MT the players have a full season ahead of them to demonstrate why they should be ranked higher in the first place. As long as the Clippers continue to play at the level that they did in last year's playoffs, it will only be a matter of time before these ratings begin to rise.

During the 2021-22 season, the Clippers could have yet another sour taste in their mouth.
