This segment describes Sbcglobal Email Settings for Mac mail. Follow the information below:

First, open the email app on your Mac device
Then select the Email option and select Add Account from the top menu bar.
Then select the "Other Email Accounts" option from the list of emails and manually set up your Sbcglobal email account.
Then enter all the required details such as your name, email ID and password. Enter the details as below-
Enter your full Sbcglobal email address instead of your email address and username.
Enter your Sbc global email account password instead of "Password".
Select the account type as IMAP or POP, depending on your requirements. By default, the IMAP server is selected.
Enter "imap.mail.att.net" instead of the host name of the incoming mail server.
Enter "smtp.mail.att.net" instead of the host name of the outgoing mail server.
If the domain is still being forwarded or propagated, you can temporarily use the IP addresses of the incoming and outgoing servers.
Ignore the prompt message "Unable to verify account name or password".
Also, ignore the two server ID prompts and click Continue. If you want to avoid these prompts, add the certificate to your trust settings.
As a final step, select all the apps you want to use with your email account and click Finish.
