If your plans change unexpectedly, Lufthansa enables you to cancel your flight up to 24 hours before to departure. If you have a fully refundable ticket, there will be no cancellation fees. Lufthansa Airlines Cancellation Policy does not allow cancellations if you have a non-refundable ticket.

The following are the steps to cancelling a Lufthansa flight ticket:

• Visit the website of Lufthansa Airlines.
• Click on My Bookings on the Lufthansa Airlines website.
• By entering your surname and booking number, you may access your account.
• To cancel your reservation, go to the login page and click the Cancellation option.
• Lufthansa Airlines sends an automated confirmation email, cancelling the flight ticket and transferring or crediting the returned amount to the credit card.
