Leveling up quickly is one thing, leveling up an insane amount is another. One player in World of Warcraft made it his mission to play 60 characters.

A few days ago, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic, the first expansion for WoW Classic, was released. While some players set new goals at the time, another managed to finish an insane level grind: bring 60 characters to level 60 - but without completing quests.

Almost a year and a half of playing time for 60 characters

The idea for such a project had the Reddit user Rommildrey some time ago. It was then that in World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor, he began to bring 100 characters to the then maximum level of 100. But that didn't really satisfy him, as the level experience was pretty easy and fast.

It's quite different in World of Warcraft: Classic, where the level phase is a whole corner tougher. So his goal was clear early on and the motivation was high:

"I was motivated the whole time because I knew I wanted to do it [the level project]. I knew it triggered that appeal and could dissuade me from doing big, crazy projects like this."

In addition to the already ambitious goal, Rommildrey also set himself the goal of completely renouncing quests. Instead, he farmed experience points and WoW TBC gold solely using the Recovered Bonus and by slading enemies in the open world. Once the bonus expired, he logged into a tavern and moved on to the next character.

Can such a method be fun? yes. At least for Rommildrey, this is the case, because he loves to grind and do other things on the side. »Running from opponent to opponent meant I had a lot of free time to watch series and movies and listen to music and discover new music.«

Speaking of time, Rommildrey said he spent a whopping 316 days of playtime in World of Warcraft: Classic. As some Reddit users calculate, this corresponds to a proud 12 to 14 hours a day and that for about a year and a half.
