Beyond 24 hours, passengers must pay 10% of the value of the airfare as KLM ticket cancellation charges to claim a refund on their reservation.

The refund must be made to the original bank account or to the cardholder's debit / credit card within 7-10 business days.

Guests from the US and Canada can only claim a 100% refund under KLM's 24-hour cancellation rule, as long as the reservation must be made at least 7 days or more prior to flight departure.

The 24-hour grace period must begin the moment you complete the flight purchase and have been issued a 13-digit e-ticket number.

KLM Airways reward airline tickets are exempt from KLM cancellation within 24 hours.

KLM airways cancellation within 24 hours would not apply to group rates.
