The move-out bubble itself is on Animal Crossing Bells a cooldown that is two weeks since you last had a move-out conversation, so if you have the conversation (regardless of what you tell the villager to perform ) it resets. But if you dismiss it, it'll jump around every day.

Do you have to induce one to move outside or just reject an older one's move out request? I'm like 99% sure that I got my most recent villager to move out after, but I think maybe 2-3 villagers asked to go out (but I told them not to) until she did.

Same here. I came back in January after not playing because around this time this past year and was extremely disappointed buy the lack of things added, and especially the lack of"fresh to the series" things included. The ocean update was cool, the artwork update was fine but the absence of QoL updates is really what killed the game for me personally. Fishing Bait still merely being able to be produced one at a time.

Sad that they hit us with buy Animal Crossing Items that ocean diving upgrade a couple months after release since it got my hopes up that new large changes could be coming. Still waiting for my coffee shop.
